Sally Nutt

Age range: 50+

Sally Nutt has been an actor-in-residence with Playwrights’ Platform since 2009.  She fell for theatre during a 3rd-grade Arbor Day play and has forever after managed to find a stage no matter where in the world she’s been planted.  Favorite productions in New England include ESCAPED ALONE (Firehouse Center for the Arts), DEATHTRAP (The Players’ Ring), THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHTTIME (Hackmatack Playhouse), THE GHOST SONATA (Fort Point Theatre Channel), THE GOOD BODY (Hub Theatre Company); and STEEL MAGNOLIAS (Jean’s Playhouse).

She serves on the artistic board of Boston’s Fort Point Theatre Channel, as co-chair of the Amesbury Cultural Council, and hosts a monthly playwriting group known as The Fardels.  She’s a retired Air Force public affairs officer, and currently works as a standardized patient, teaching communication skills and exam technique at Boston area medical schools and hospitals.   She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.  www.neactor.com/profile/sallynutt
