Teo Meyerhoff’s path to the Playwrights’ Platform has been a circuitous one. He started acting in high school, where he played the role of Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet. His ability to riff humorously and ad lib were enough to get him noticed in an open audition for a show called Fetch—he was offered a role but didn’t accept it due to prior obligations. Never wanting to get too far away from the craft he loves, Teo took an acting class during his time at Boston College. He writes comedy and song lyrics in his spare time but greatly misses the thrill of performing. He is eager to learn and anxiously awaits the opportunity to showcase his passion for the stage.
