The 46th Annual Playwrights’ Platform Festival of New Plays was held at the Boston Playwrights’ Theatre on May 31, June 1, and June 2.

2018 Festival Winners were:

• Best Actress (tie):
  Kim Anton Myatt, for Colleen in MUTE by Lawrence Kessenich
  Katie Suchyta, for Rachel in FRANK AND RACHEL by Nancy Temple
• Best Actor (tie):
  Brian Dion, for Hugh in MUTE by Lawrence Kessenich
  Eric Skoglund, for Brian in AN EXPLOSION OF HANDS by George Smart
• Best Director:
  Karen Dervin, for MUTE
