Playwrights’ Platform is a non-profit, Boston-area cooperative of playwrights, directors, and resident
actors. Membership provides these benefits:
- Regularly-scheduled meetings, where you can hear your work – short and full-length – performed by actors and receive thoughtful critiques.
- Support for public-facing play reading events in Boston and surrounding areas.
- Access to the Actors in Residence program.
- Ability to submit to a Playwrights’ Platform new works Festival.
- Network with other theater professionals.
PLEASE NOTE: TO BECOME A MEMBER, YOU MUST RESIDE IN NEW ENGLAND OR HAVE SPECIAL PERMISSION TO JOIN PLAYWRIGHTS’ PLATFORM.
While attendance (physical or virtual) at every meeting is not expected, to support fellow writers and actors, members must participate by attending two readings (other than their own).
Playwrights’ Platform is a member-focused and member-driven cooperative.
It is NOT a production company.
