Age Range: 37 plus
LIDA MCGIRR Began her acting career at age 7 as a leprechaun singing and dancing at Nathan’s Hot Dog Stand in Coney Island. She was one of the three found ing members of Little Theater on 26th Street in NY where she performed as the Logician and Mrs. Boeuf in “Rhinoceros.” Some of her favorite roles are Martha in “Whose Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”, Shirley Valentine in “Shirley Valentine” and Abigail in “The Crucible.” She began directing her brothers in Peter Cottontail on the back porch when they were 3 and 1 and has moved on to directing mini-operas in protest of the discontinuation of “Saturday at the Met”, entertainment for Romance Novelist Conventions and productions for local theaters. Her short plays have appeared in festivals, women’s clubs, senior groups, bakeries and annual meetings in Boston, Cambridge, Framingham, Arlington, Concord and Natick.
