Mary Barbara has been acting professionally since 1978. She has trained in acting, voice and dance in New York and Los Angeles and has performed in all media. She was a member of the Apple Corps Theatre in New York City and played a range of roles in their Off-Broadway productions. In New York she also developed and performed a solo cabaret act “Essentially Cole.” She has had jobs ranging from modeling bras for Exquisite Form to making personal appearances as Bat Girl and Wonder Woman to playing a Klingon on Star Trek “Voyager.”
Mary Barbara describes herself as a mother/farmer/ activist/actress. Her passions include cooking, animals, horseback riding, dog training, gardening, recycling, travel and scuba diving.
